If Eye was the man in ur life appreciation Yes I am a few years late lol but listened to it properly last weekend and cant get the bloody thing out of my head! I think it could be good enough to have made it onto SOTT! the horns and keys are so catchy and even the way Prince sings the lyrics is just so cool - really lifts the album and contender for one of his best tracks since 2000

Yeah I'm hoping that by some chance he sings it when I see him again on the 28th - that baseline is just the biz!

Some of the old sense of humour is there. It would be awesome if he had done it live with The Marrying Kind.

LOVE the combined experience of Marrying Kind followed by this song.
What I love even more was playing it in the car while driving a car with whom I was in a situation much like the one portrayed in these songs. Much of the same sentiment held true, especially since I ultimately won her from the fucking dorkus malorkus she was with.

Yeah it really does stick out as a song he could have written some 15 years earlier - funny I was trying to imagine how it would sound with the camille voice and arrangement from around '89

Yeah I kinda guessed it was recent I was thnking that the vibe was someting of an older song and wondering how it MIGHT sound - but thanks for info!

Love this song too. His humor in storytelling is evident in this one as well as The Marrying Kind. Shake....shake, shake, shake.
