Produce more crap or retire?

If Prince continued to produce nothing but garbage music forever, would you prefer him to keep it up or just retire?

Even if you like his current stuff, imagine for a minute that you hate it.

If I hated his music for years and years I wouldn't always come to his site and keep a close watch on his career. Like some of you.

I think I would prefer that he continue, because I believe that he needs to record music to stay sane. He's given me enough reason to support him that I wish him well, and he think that he could only remain well if he continued to record. I would probably still buy it as well, simply to hear what he had to say.

Tom

He should give it a rest for a while and come back with something strong when he's got some decent material together.

I seriously don't care about Prince and his career as much as it may seem by reading my posts on here. Its honestly just amusing to occasionally post/read remarks on here.

I'm not losing sleep over the ONA cds or my NPGMC membership each night.

This site is strangely addictive though. I think it paints a very exaggerated view of his fans tho.

No thanks bud. I have a dick of my own and don't go for asses attached to one. As for Nep2nes she couldn't find an intelligent man if she advertised a lifetime supply of free pussy. You can have her.

I like the path Prince is taking with the music he is making.

I hope Prince keeps making music. Whatever. I like 2 hear new music. Not 2 say I don't enjoy the old music. I do. I just like 2 hear new music by Prince.

I say let Prince grow. It must b hard 2 try & please everyone. I must feel sorry 4 Prince, because he cannot please everyone all the time. That's life.

I just think he's gone so far left in his style, that he's alienated a lot of fans. Some artists like Madonna and U2 have changed with the times, but continue to hold a strong fan base over the many years. It would be very interesting if he makes a worth while comeback.

What are you on about?
Some "artists" like Madonna and U2 have changed their music like a coat, to suit the needs of the mass audience. Who needs that kind of shit?
Whats a "worthwhile comeback"?
Have you heard The Rainbow Children?
Music like that is real, not the audience seeking crap that the rest do.

Just because YOU don't like those albums doesn't make it a bad album to someone else, Aaron. :-p

Yeah I agree with you there. But then, if TRC isn't a "worthwhile comeback" then what is? I agree that Rave was an audience seeking piece of crap, but he's made amends with TRC. What else does a person want?
