Prince's ego too big? I would have never believed that unless I heard that Candy said it.

I read this on Housequake:
In short she told some more specifics than she did on her website, telling that she actually was 'a little angry' with Prince having her rush off to London straight after a leg of her own tour and told him that in person. She also said that she felt there was a somewhat strange vibe as he told her he had to cancel some of the other guests (only naming Sheila E. as such!!), so she felt like there was something coming her way too. After 'beating around the bush for a while' as she put it (??), he finally told her felt he had to cancel her as well, simply because there was (litteraly) not enough space on stage for her.... He said he was sorry about this situation, apologized to her and could relate to her being upset. But he was 'very sweet to her' and they are both ok about the situation and Prince even went as far as paying her a week salary regardless. If anybody knows Dutch..here is the Radio interview. http://www.3fm.nl/page/3f...ramma/GIEL

There's enough room on the stage for The Twinz but not Candy..

The Twinz weren't on the Musicology tour thats why I pointed out there is room for The Twinz and not Candy... either way his choice is his choice.

There was 'no room' for her.
The horn section would have been too heavy with Candy in my view anyway.

Candy did play at one of the early aftershows, perhaps even the 1st night. She was playing with Maceo.

What's the big deal? He had to cancel her appearance, he was nice about it, and paid her anyway.

When did this happen?
August 4th The jams continued two and a half hours later in the O2 Indigo venue, when the New Power Generation played the first aftershow party of the residency. Led by Parker and Candy Dulfer, they were joined at 2am by Prince, who wandered on and off the stage for the next hour, adding the occasional guitar solo and eventually singing "3121". http://www.uncut.co.uk/ne...news/10060 Prime aka The Kid

Well im just glad that i actually got to see her perform. Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!

August 4th was Nikka Costa with a 5 minute cameo by Prince. The best by far though was August 3rd: DR. JOHN!!!!!
