I typically give all of my albums three listens b4 I know 4 sure where I stand with them. That gives me time to think things over b4 I go off saying something I might regret.
But in some cases, I have to listen more than 3x 2b sure. (Come, 1999 and Musicology were 3 such cases).

I'll say this, though. Christmas break will be very eventful when I finally give the said album a listen. And I'll be in isolation (home w/o access 2 this site), so I'll be free to decide whatever I feel. But the wait will definitely be worth it.
