I'm getting there...whereas I was listening 2 the album non-stop 4 the past couple of weeks, I have not listened 2 any songs this week. I don't know if I've grown tired listening 2 it already or just need 2 take some time off from listening 2 it. Nonetheless, I'm already wishing 4 new Prince material-- some live stuff would b nice!! I wonder if he'll release another live box set like ONA Live soon?? A Live DVD would b great 2!!

I'm always ready for the next album. But I'm still enjoying it!!!!!

Well, to be honest, I am not feeling it like 3121. But, that is OK. It is just different. I just dug 3121 more, the deep base lines, the freshness, the drama (like in The Dance). I will ALWAYS be ready for another album.

well, after a 2 or 3 days i started to listen to another prince tunes! PE is kinda " already heard somewhere before, but better.."! not really original album! Well, at the moment i am listining to chaos and disorder, and i think it is a much better album than PE! for me PE is like a side project, listen to it for some days and then get back to the real prince!
PE has some pearls, but the album goes nowhere...after resolution, i think WTF is that? its over????

Yeah, I do like it but I really haven't listened to it much atall! I guess that's how you can tell the difference from a real quality record and one that's ulitmatley disposable, how often you go back to it.

i have the cd in the car and only listen to planet earth, guitar and chelsea. the rest i skip them so i guess i have a lot to go.

3121 was straight in like a chocolate cake. liked them all since the first listen (very strange on prince albums)

I am enjoying Planet Earth! I just wish there were a few more tracks but I can't complain. So yeah, I am always up a for a new Prince album...maybe a 2 or 3 cd set...that would be killer!

Long Live Prince and the NPG!

I'm still enjoying Planet Earth quite a bit, but I'd still love to hear whatever's next. I'm always up for new Prince music, no matter how new an album is.

I'm going to let Planet Earth marinate before I decide whether I need to move on. I find myself really liking a couple of the songs but as time goes on, I'm getting some of the others stuck in my head too.

I'm ready for anything new my man puts out. But I'm just warming up to PE cuz I just got it {yeah I know late as eva} but I love the album, every song has something about it that I just love some more than others but I can sit and listen to the whole thing and enjoy it! I don't want Prince burning himself out though, I love him just as mush as the next person and I know he is built for making music but he's only human and this human needs to rest also! Heya Prince I have a nice cozy spot 4 ya right here in N.Y.!

Some of the PE songs are starting to grow on me. But PE is definitely not one of his albums I fell in love with immediately. Compared to what he has released in the past, this album seems so average or even slightly below.

You guys have no idea how good you've got it with Prince.

I was at the mall yesterday getting fitted for a tux (for my sister's up-coming wedding) which, is the only reason I find to ever go into the mall, these days.
After the fitting I went to eat at Wendy's ( I had a Bacon Swiss Double stack. Yep. That's how I roll, dawg.....).
There's an FYE right across from there,
& I completely forgot to go in to pick up the CD.


Ah well,
no big whoop.
The way my sister's relationships go,
I'll probably be back in there in about 7-8 months....

After listening to every new Prince album since the early 1990s, after about a week, I'm ready for a new Prince album. The reason is, since then, Prince is basically the only artist out there worth a damn so who else am I going to listen to until he makes a new album.

New Prince albums happen in a vaccuum. I don't hear the songs on the radio, I don't see videos, I don't see him on talk shows, my friends don't talk about them.

I wonder if that makes them feel more disposable. I almost feel that since they're not making a big splash on the world, they're not making a big splash among fans even.

On the flip side, average songs develop lives of their own simply because we hear them in lots of places other than our own cd players.
