Ok, it's October and no word on when ONA is coming. I am in desprate need of some new Prince. One Nite Alone (cd from April) just ain't cuttin' it.

i don't think anyone knows when it's coming out, but i guarantee you that the npgmc members won't be the first to know about it... we'll find out second-hand through "rolling stone" or "billboard" just like we did with the tracklisting...

oh well, as long as i get it eventually, i'll be happy...

I think the longer it takes for us to get the ONA live CD the more likely that this will be our last CD's to fulfill our NPGMC membership.

I still think ONA Live! won't be part of the membership because everything points to it being available to buy on the site. This would be good because it would mean more Prince music for us as we'd likely get three more club CDs containing diverse music, such as the Xenophobia studio album, which I'm looking forward to greatly.

However, say he puts the CD up on the site to buy for $25, I would have to pay $15 to have it shipped to England (or to Bangkok where I am now? Who knows?) and it'd take weeks if not months to arrive. While I'm still waiting for it the general public would already have it.

Grrr...but I still don't want to fulfil the membership because that means no more music!

Whatever happens, the only reason I ever get upset with Prince is the lack of information. What he does is up to him, but I just wish he'd throw us a few crumbs occasionally so we wouldn't all get so hysterical.

Still, the negativity on this site is starting to bug me. I've had a pop at Prince several times but ultimately I feel good that I can listen to such an incredible artist. That's a very cool thing.

ok i'm not wit the club yet,but its pretty dodgy how they carefully state "4 new cds this year" instead of 4 albums or 4 EP's.
Only reason im'a join up is when P announces Aussie dates so i can get the benefits at the show,otherwise i wouldnt join based on their performance 2 deliver 2 teh fams this year.

Why do the members have to wait? I suspect it's because everything he's released through the club the past two years has been pirated and thrown up on AudioGalaxy or alt.binaries.multimedia.prince before all the members even got their copies in the mail or in last years case, downloaded it from the NPGMC website. Thus, people who were not in the club got it free and first.

In all fairness, I think we don't get information is because Prince is not giving any information to anyone.

Sometimes it's a don't kill the messenger type of deal, ya know.

Novemer 25th in the shops me thinks.
