Did Prince write...?

"What have you done for me lately?" The song also sung by Janet Jackson.
Watched a clip oh him in Tokyo, and Rosie sang the lyrics. Prince kept saying: "who wrote that?"

Does any one know? Thx.

Nope it was written by Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, former members of The Time.
RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

Yes. That was the thing.

He was giving a cheeky nod/elbow to the ribs to the fact that Jam & Lewis, as ex-The Time members took that MPLS sound and became 'super-producers' with it.

Yup, yup. Also, Janet had originally wanted Prince 2 produce the album, but her parents wouldn't allow it.

In the Prince world, nobody really knows for sure who wrote what, stuff is credited to sheila, that she didn't write, stuff is credited to prince that some say Morris wrote, maybe he did, nobody here could say 100% because this is Prince were talking about, everything is spoken in purple bullshit.

one day we will get a tell all book by someone (hopefully Allan Leeds) and set the record straight. stoned
