So are there are fans here who have been lucky enough to meet the man himself?

I understand he's probably not the most accesible artist to meet and that there are rumours that he's not exactly the "stop, chat and sign an autograph" type of guy, but have you met him?

If so, what was your experience like?

me and him have really big egos and are as equally talented.

We'd either get on like a house on fire or totally detest one another... Can't wait 4 him to meet his larger than life UK counterpart... FYI: ME

I used to live in MPLS in the 90's so I used to see him alot around the night clubs, had the privledge of going to the Nude tour after party at Paisley Park back in the day, it was a funny story. I did not have my id on me so I got stuck standing outside in enterance, I was the only not allowed in. It was for 21 or over of course I had no way of proving my age, my friends left me there by myself, some friends... Anyway the security must have felt sorry for me because after what seemed about 15 minutes of me trying to tell them I was 27 yrs old, they pulled in through the door. The party of held in the lobby of the building, Prince and Sheila E came walking through the crowd as we danced, I did not even know he walked past me until he was behind me, I was having to much fun dancing. I was also on the Graffiti Bridge set and was pulled from the crowd of extras on the set by the camara guy, and told asked if I would do a walk by in front of the camara. At this time the set was what they call closed only the camara man, Tevin Campbell and Prince and of course me were allowed on the set, anyway Tevin was supposed to come out of his make shift house set down the boom box and start singing, then I would do a walk by in front of him, Prince was in the director's chair across the room watching every move. I had to do this about 4 times, I was so nervous because I knew Prince was watching everything I was doing, and I kept looking down at my feet so embarresed. The camara man kept saying "ok sweetheart we need you to look straight foward" well if I did that I would have to look at Prince and at that time in my life, I was young and insecure to shy to look at him. Then I have seen him in clubs as I meantioned before, we did the staring at me, staring at you game from across the room game, but I was to modest to go up and try to say anything, probably would have gotten thrown out by the body guards anyway.... So with all this my point is almost met the guy, very close by not quit.

I was bery close to him at a concert. We met eyes. He was playing gutait and I was playing air futair with him. He just looked at me like I was crazy.

i was gonna tell you how awesome your work was.. the whole guardians @ the gate thing w/those swords and.. the georgous garden (i think the Key to the gate was in a tree) .. also.. the inside of Prince's house(looked like his living room w/4 staircases).. and the studio w/Prince hiding in the corner (lol) .. was awesome stuff..
