It's a half decent album.

It lacks the imagination and Uniqueness of his best work.

The one U wanna C is a fine pop song and Lion of Judah has a certain power and Guitar is also a pretty decent effort.

Future Baby Mama is bland beyond belief

Mr Goodnight is a great example of what has been wrong with alot of his output since about 1991, following trends.

It's best track is The One U wanna C because it has the playfulness of alot of his stella 1985-1986 output.

I even suspect it could be an updated song from the vault. It shares alot of similaraties to Cosmic Day, as discussed in detail on Housequake.

Nah! Planet Earth is not one of his best or greatest albums. I feel it's the weakest compare to 3121 & Musicology. I liked 3121 better out of those 3. Planet Earth is no where in the rankings with SOTT, 1999, & Purple Rain. Those are great albums. Planet Earth is a fair album. It's not bad, it's just not great.

In order for this to be "Prince's" best album, one would have to: 1) Take into consideration how "COHESIVE" the album is and, then; 2) How many of those songs on that album are actually even comparable to other of that person's projectively finest crafts in their "COMPLETE" catalogue. Now, ask yourself, can you honestly even compare the likes of this album to "The Album"? If you can, I will try my hardest to believe you, agree to disaree, "AND" to respect your opinion. I know, "Hard to believe!," right?
