Qmagazines 100 greatest singers

This is truely one of the strangest lists I have ever seen I mean this is supposed to be about greatest singers of all time. Prince is at 61 which is fine there are better singers Freddie mecury who would definitely be in my top 10 is at 47 wow the top 20 must be amazing youre probably thinking number 18 anyone, bob dylan thats right what the ****. Check it our for yourself at the link below the list is at the bottom of the page just scroll down.

That list is probably a few years old, I may be wrong, but Q magazine, Spin, and just about every rock magazine dates itself by lazily stating that state of pop culture of the given day the writer made the list is definitive,..... of course till the next time it has to make the list.
by the artist mentioned on the lists, i would say it was written in the 90's

Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan

I think this dude is a huge Bhangra artist, friend of mine at Uni used to listen to him all the time. I remember watching some concert footage at one time also. I must admit I was surprised to see the name again especially at no 56, but he was great!!
Happy is he who finds out the causes for things.Virgil (70-19 BC). Virgil was such a lying bastard!

30. Morrissey
34. Stevie Wonder

I dont think so. Morrissey cant sing. He just moans in a slightly retarded way. Stevie influenced a generation of singers. Lists like that make me so angry! These people must be high or stupid...or both.

Freddy Mercury wasn't British. Born in Zanzibar and raised in India until 12 or 13.

My god, I'm a pedantic b*stard. Sorry.

This list is ridiculous.

Of course, some are great singers and some we love just for their singing style, but any list that puts Axl Rose on it as a great singer is just plain whack!

I don't know how many times I've read some bio/review/best of list/critique that was generated by a British writer or publication, where they point to Oasis as the end all and be all musically. F)(# 'EM ! I couldn't stand those furry-browed, jibberish talking, drunken bastards. One of the Prince bio's ( I forget which one ) referenced them repeatedly . Nearly ruined the damned book. Hey, UK people - WE DON'T CARE !!
Anybody see their Behind the Music episode, where they had to use subtitles when the Gallagher brothers spoke ? (Actually, I think it was just one of them - the other one was probably too drunk - or mad at his brother - to participate ).
