When I am discovering a new artist I always check out youtube to inspire me into buying the artists records, it is a very powerful medium which I think should be embrased and not shunned. I don't understand why Prince loves to get his and other artist music to the public without the need for record companies yet he doesn't think that youtube is a perfect place to do it...

I love prince and I always will, and I do respect him greatly, however I sometimes wish I knew why the innovator of 21st century music distribution, does not see the potential that youtube has to offer.

Youtube is for kids and clowns! It use to be a really nice site but now most of the things on there are "freak of the week shit, I'm glad he's limited his exposure over there.

but who wants to see crappy clips of some concert taken at the back of a theatre...not me....old videos never released such as 'empty room' should be officialy released...otherwise we will probably only see them on some cash-in dvd when he is dead !
