That is such an incredible CD. One of my favorites from the man!
I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

I think it was one of those Prince albums that he really hyped up before it's release and it actually lived up to the hype.

Great great great album.

One of my favorite Prince albums. Why is is it mixed so damned loud though? confuse

The only songs I don't care for are Pussy Control, We March and I hate U. But those 3 tracks are still far more energetic than anything from his past 3 albums. lol

I need to get this album... I can't find it anywhere, and it's always expensive for a used CD, but I'll like break down and buy it in the near future anyway.

man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81

I just recently downloaded this album a few days ago, and listend to it all the way through for the first time. It is really a good album. One of his better albums of the 90's. (although I prefer Come over this one).

I even dig his rapping on P.Control. And of course TMBGITW is one of his best songs. Endorphinmachine rocks hard (although I heard the origial version rocks harder).

This is an all around good album.

bottom line this is a funky album and the era that i love the most out of his career. i would love 4 him 2 adopt this attitude that he put in2 this era and say finger 2 those that want him 2 stay in the 80's.

A memory that will forever remain in my mind and heart is when Prince recited the lyrics of Gold during an award acceptance speech on BET. He was wearing sunglasses. But by the way he was holding the piece of paper from which he was reading, and the pauses that he made, it looked as if he was trying to hold back some tears. comfort hug I wanted to hug him. Poor honey-bunny. He looked so sad.

I love this cd alot and I agree days of wild would have made it a classic. It is funky in the same way that come was sexy. In my opinion after these cd's prince went into a totally different space. Some artist expound with their music, he just totally transcended, but I would love to hear music from a mature and soulful version of the funky and sexy prince

I suppose it was because the problem with WB had just began and was causing him much emotional pain. I am guessing that the Gold lyrics brought him comfort.

I saw this vid on housequake.com about a year ago.
