If Prince Released The Boots

Remember when Frank Zappa released a bunch of live concerts that were from actual bootlegged sources? They even had the same crappy sound quality and low budget artwork. Frank kind of showed that fans would rather buy a release with his stamp of approval on it than get it from a bootlegger.
The price point was higher than a regular CD, but less than a bootleg. He beat the bootleg industry at their own game and at the same time, "stole" their artwork. Classic Zappa.

If Prince did this, would you purchase his versions of classic Prince concerts and jams even though you may already own it? Remember that the sound quality would not be any different and the artwork would be taken from the boot.

I'm not asking if you think that he would do this. We all know better.

I just want to know if you would take that step in support of him.
If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.

He basically did this with the videos last year through new junk. They were actually worse then the boots.

But to answer your question I would purchase them if they were reasonably priced.

I would buy it, just to keep my collection complete. But he doesn't need to release bootlegs. He can easily do it from the soundboards he has from every show.

Yes!!!
We all want to get as much music from Prince as possible, that's why the bootleggers are in business.
