At first I didn't think Prince was anywhere on the cover,then I saw a hand on the side.I turned the CD book halfway and noticed a face and eyes against a dark background and I guessed it was Prince.I was surprised to see the image turn out to be a whole picture of him when I turned the whole book over.I thought that was cool.

I also like Symbol album cover a lot too.

Although I think Lovesexy is the most iconic cover, I think its one which demanded an opinion. Unfortunately, everyone I knew who wasn't a Prince fan (virtually everyone) were saying "Why do you listen to that weirdo". It generated a lot of that kind of opinion

Believe it or not, I LOVE the cover to The Hits/The B-Sides.
It's simple but effective. The sepia tone is perfect. It's an up-close-and-personal pic - you can see every little facial hair, the waves in his hair, etc.
I think it's a really good pic - just his face with his eyes closed.
The pics in the sleeve are great too, especially those by the tree.
A good shoot overall - congrats to the photographer.

But Lovesexy is better...

Most def Sign of the times...The colour...the instruments...the cover is all about music. And i love his music. Thats what its all about for me, his music. The rest is nonsense

My favourite has to be the 'Lovesexy' cover. He looks so pure, spiritual and serene in that picture. Beautiful!
