I think his lyrics now and always have said what he wants them to say. If they sound deep they were meant to sound deep, if they sound nonsensical they were meant to. I think he always has and always does and still does have them say what he wants to. You might think they sound silly well he probably wanted them to. You can find Party lyrics, spiritual lyrics, political lyrics, nonsense lyrics etc., etc., etc. all the way through his career. This isn't a just now thing. exactly .. the man has written so much music.. he's bound to write stuff that sounds out in left field.. which is fine for me.. cause cant take life so serious all the time.. (he must have about 1500 songs alone for himself and umpteen songs for others) | |

Im pretty sure your supposed to shake most cartons of juice before you drink em??
The one i have here from asda(uk's wallmart) says shake before use or something of the sort

I respect your opinion, and what I learned in a poetry class from a teacher was so profound, and I had been writing for years...A poem, like a song, is just what it is. And to add, my opinion is that we can all write stuff that is garbage bound but Prince has clarified his own emotions so well in some songs, that he can't outdo himself lyrically.
