Spike Lee is quite the fan. Prince helped bankroll Malcolm X (as legend has it) and the Girl 6 soundtrack is evidence of his regard for Prince as well.

I think Rick dug P's music to some extent, but he considered Prince, as a person, a complete asshole. It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.
