Will Prince EVER play them in concert? Some of the old stuff seem to be ignored:
When we're dancing close and slow I want to be your lover I mean anything from Controversy or before that's not any more sexual than his more recent stuff. What gives? No More Haters on the Internet. |

Dear rumandraisin , in the past week he has played 7 from the lovesign album and joy in repetition from graffiti bridge aswell as diamonds and pearls (the song). | |

Prince's concerts change all the time, but if the lyrics to a song have profanity or a lot of sexual references, Probably not. | |

Diamonds and Pearls was piano only though as part of a medley, probably only a verse and chorus. | |

Rum .he played all of those songs live b4 at some point. many of em were prominante in certain tours. However in recent times an throughout his carreer as a performer it seems he has picked certain songs which are always gonna be played ..an most of which tend to be 80s or purple ran songs. he brought SHHH back which is cool .. but GOLD ect ..it would be cool if he included more 90s stuff whenever i want to hear some new music ...i make some - prince '99' | |

He did play I wanna be your lover at the Target Center last month. He started to play & sing the intro to Diamonds & Pearls too but then decided to sing Cream instead. It was awesome.  Shake it til ya make it  | |

Lets Work That's what I'm talking about Rum and Raisin. I would love Starfish and Coffee live. That song is as non-sexual and non-profane was you can get. I'll faint if he does Mountains. I can see he doesn't want to do Batman, he probably doesn't want to crawl through legs (for professional purposes anyway.) No More Haters on the Internet. |

He played Purple Rain, Girls & Boys, Gotta Broken Heart Again, *CONTROVERSY*, Nothing Compares 2 U, Take me With U, Little Red Corvette, and ended the mothafuckin' set with Sometimes It Snows In April. Kick the old school joint 4 the true funk soldiers.
