When you watch stuff like

V festival and see such bores as The Kooks and Just Jack after seeing Prince gig and aftershow last night, you can't believe they call that stuff music!

Agreed.

Where will the above (and more so called "Great" new bands) be in 3 years...never mind 30 years.

Still. They are doing their thing, so fair play to them. It's just not my cup of tea.
