Just to give this thread a little bump...
I never did hear from "The girl in the Purple Dress", but I haven't given up hope yet. I'll be back at the O2 tomorrow (Tuesday 14th), Friday 17th and finally on Sept 21st so you never know your luck. Oh, and to recognise me, I am the 5'9" blonde in city shorts (probably) and who is so totally loved up from a bunch of Prince gigs, I have a suspicion that in some lights, I may actually be giving off a slight pinkish glow. Hi, just an update on me and The Girl in the Purple Dress... still no luck  .
Happilly, in recent weeks, my spiritual side has been revealed to me (amazing what a Prince gig or two (OK, it's five!) can do to your soul) so maybe, just maybe, with new found hope and love in my heart our ships will pass closer one night and I'll be brave enough to say "Hi!".
