Printableyeah i agree that prolly "Push" & "Walk Don't Walk" could have been taken out 4 "Horny Pony" & "Call the Law"...i know people dont like that song but i love it,so funky.
Gett Off is the wildest jam EVER! no song like it,but the 8:37 version should have been on the album,would give the album it 10/10 4 sure! top 3 song from it 4 me: Gett Off Thunder Cream ***************************************************************************************

I LOVE this album! It's a great POP album but there's nothing wrong with that.Nothing on it is particularly groundbreaking or experimental,but it's still a fun,exciting album.These are my favorite songs...
***"Strollin"---I bought this CD the day it came out,and I played this song ALL DAY LONG! I put my CD player on "repeat",I couldn't get enough of this charming little jazzy number.It's an underrated gem. ***"Gett Off"---Incredibly funky jam with hilarious lyrics.Out of all the hip-hop inspired songs Prince has done,this is probably the most convincing. ***"Cream"---This rocker is irresistible! It's a perfect little pop song,and the video was fantastic! ***"Insatiable"---Prince has done alot of "bedroom ballads" but this one rivals them all,imo.His vocals are sublime. ***"Walk Don't Walk"---I guess you would describe this song as a "stripped down folk/pop song"? Whatever,it's a charming song with a positive message. | |
