You know, this should be easy, since most of his videos are so bad, but it's hard to pick, and I guess it changes depending on my mood. Can I give you three? (Sorry.) Lately, I've been in a live mood and I can't get enough of I Would Die 4 U/Baby, I'm a Star and America. The third pick is Partyman--for some reason, I've always loved that video, especially when he (or his stunt double) swings on the rope.

To be honest, i think that most of his video's are quite mediocre, mainly because of a too low budget, or badly executed (stereotypical) idea's.

But there are a few video's that rise above mediocricy:

Raspberry Beret: the outfits, the animated scenes, the cloud-suit really fit with the neo-psychedelic sound of this song

Kiss: a minimalistic, humoristic video, just like the song.

Sign of the Times: original, purely focussing on the lyrics.

Next to that i think Prince 'shines' on video, when he uses an actual live performance as a video, because thats were he is at his element. Examples:
- America
- I could never take the place of your man
- Glam Slam (its staged, i now)

Oops, i forgot Batdance.

A non-performance video that actually works: great choreography, a nice mix of darkness and humor.
