new prince documentaries I'm surprised that with all the Prince hype recently here in the UK and elsewhere that there haven't been any new documentaries about Prince. Considering his status as a musician and performer and the influence he has had and still has you'd think somebody like Melvyn Bragg or other more serious art/music critics would make one - especially to fill some people in on what he did during the 'missing years'in the 90s and leading up to his resurgence in 2004 with Musicology. Would anybody else like to see a serious documentary (as opposed to one talking about the 'pint-sized symbol lothario's sexual conquests - yawn!!!)?

I think it'd be good if it got a really popular timeslot and lots of people saw it.

There are at least 2 audio bio on Prince that are up to Musicology and 3121 that I think are really great. One was the bbc w/ Mica Paris from 2004 and there is another one froma British person doing the bio upto 3121. I like them both and fun to listen to. The first one is the best for back ground info and has interviews with some of the members from the Revolution.
Key stuff was 1999, P.R., the Black lp,.....etc. [Edited 8/3/07 9:44am] "
