Not sure what happened there?
There is an hour long show on The Box, a UK Music channel (Channel 349 on Sky) this evening at 9pm. The Box is an urban channel and as such I would expect to see Black Sweat and Kiss rather than his more rockier stuff. Set your Sky Plus boxes! Actually its a 45 minute show with adverts - which means about 30 minutes of video. I've set the Sky+ to record.
I assumed there must be some more Prince on TV this week - what with all the highprofile gigs and all. Surfing through all the music channels for the week resulted in nothing. Theres plenty of reality shows on MTV, half naked jail bait on the others, and some boy bands whose balls havent dropped yet...Prince? Nope. I sat on the train coming home and watched dozens of people read the Metro and other freebie newspapers which had gushing reviews of Princes 1st night at O2 and pictures on the cover. Surely the Music channel producers, having their fingers on the pulse would hone in on the recent Prince publicity. Nope. I've often read posts by various nutcases on this site claiming theres a conspiricy against Princes music. I guess I must be starting to turn a little nutty myself... Sorry about the rant | |
