It's not that big of a secret.

He's been checking the Org 4 a while now... under a pseudonym, and never posting.

He's gone now though.

Why? Was the wife thread a bit too much to handle? razz

Oh for crying out loud..

I was looking at a whole stack of threads to do with the concert and I happened across that one line in one of the reviews. It's not like I have any reason to make it up, it was just hard to find it again in the mountain of reviews posted and I didn't know we needed links if I was getting it from Housequake.

Calm down! mad

I tried finding a post in P&R to prove a point, spent days looking for it, went back 6 months, speed-read every forum topic on every page, and all the posts, couldn't find it, and ended up with a stiff neck.....Did discover P&R can be pretty funny, though.

I can see where Prince, or a few of his employees, as an assigned task, would read fan websites. If only to see the general response to his new music and activities. He's not going to get that on his own website. There's a broad national and international membership here, and everything from mild to hardcore followers and the freedom to say pretty much what one wants without reprisal.
No musician can base public opinion simply on record sales, radioplay, top ten, or music critics. Those are factors, but the internet can provide the quickest buzz for feedback.

Back in 2001 Prince was posting here on a regular basis usually during the wee hours of the morning.
I remember he gave the tracklisting of The Rainbow Children album and folks were clowning because of the song titles like Everlasting Now and 1+1+1=3. I thought that he was clowing until the tracks were real.

Well now I am convinced his reps are here because the 'independent review' is front and center on 3121.com. eek It appears P didn't ask permission (like Price and the Revolution would decline) but he was definitely touched enough to have it added. The new title is interesting.....

Oh, come on, people. If you had websites dedicated entirely to your life and career, wouldn't you be curious enough to check them out from time to time? Of course you would! Me, too! Prince is human, and I wouldn't doubt it one bit if he hung around here from time to time.
