My favorite scenes in "Purple Rain":

1) When Billy Sparks busts into Prince's room backstage, points his finger at him, and hollers, "What the fuck's wrong with you, Kid?!". I loooove that whole exchange of dialog in that scene, it's my favorite.

2) The "what's the password" scene between Morris and Jerome. It still cracks me up to this day.

3) Wendy telling Prince off for not using her and Lisa's music: "You know, you can really hurt people. Doesn't that mean anything to you? I mean, doesn't that make you feel like shit?"

4) Morris saying to Prince as The Time is getting offstage, "Why don't you stick around for awhile, see how it's done?" And Jerome pinching Prince's cheeks and saying, "So sexy!"


There are probably tons more, but those are the ones that first come to my head.

Morris talking to Appolonia and mumbling "Did somebody put something in my drink tonight or are you the finest woman I seen in AGES"??

Top 5 scenes:

1) Wendy telling him off...like many..I know this whole scene by heart..sometimes when I call someone I'll joke around and say 'So I hear you got a new tune written by a couple of great girls...didja hear it?" usually my brother would be the one to respond like Lisa..

2) The scene that kills me every time is after his parents fight in his bedroom and Prince goes up to him mom and touches her knee...I cry like a baby

3) When Morris and The Time are mocking 'Let's Go Crazy' and Morris looks remorseful

4) 'Computer Blue'/'Darling Nikki' the whole performance..flawless

5) The whole scene after 'Purple Rain'...so moving...

I love that scene because it's just stupid looking

But when he walks down to the room where his dad is playing computer blue/father's song, that scene is actually pretty cool.

Purple Rain is possibly the best Rock Musical ever in my opinion, even though as a movie it still sucks.

I liked it when P was in the basement, on the piano, after his dad had gone to the hospital.

THe sun was shining on him through the blinds and he was looking up through the window, obidiently playing, but somehow looking up for strengh...of his dad, maybe??

there are several scenes from this movie that I love, but I really like the scene where Prince & Appolonia are about to get their freak on and the song GOD is playing..I love that music!!! and of course the song TBO..well because it has it's own sentimental value in my personal life..
