Prince back to the days of vinyl?

One LP length album a year -- filled with "pop" songs -- released on a major label -- that make appearances in the Billboard Top 10.

Will he stick with this "regular" release pattern; just like he did thoughout the 1980's?

god, i hope so. we still get some really bad filler, but at least there seems to be less of it. as his career goes on and on, i no longer feel the need to hear every single thing he ever recorded, released and unreleased. i do for the 80's/90's stuff, and wish all of it was out there. but i'm glad he's exercising some degree of quality control. and if it means short albums once a year, instead of long albums, so be it. put the filler out as downloads.
