P also gave Erykah Badu and Common a shout out on ONA Live In the Mellow so I would assume Erykah's a fan/fam too. BTW how is Common's CD. It's on sale at Starbuck's. its a solid album, not his best work, but much better than the rest of the hip hop crap that's out now. only target has the exclusive bonus dvd. common also mentioned that prince was a huge fan of his, and told him that the light was his favorite songs of that year.

Yeah, I had some pics of P and Common on stage together, but that was 2-3 computers ago. I'm looking forward to getting the Common album. Good night, sweet Prince | 7 June 1958 - 21 April 2016

There are so many more; P is a legend and talented as hell. And has been for ever. He's going to get much love from folks in the industry. Some of those names are a surprise to me. Brett Michaels? Marc Anthony? Wow "Old man's gotta be the old man. Fish has got to be the fish."

I remember seeing an interview on MTV2 here in the UK ages ago and Matt Bellamy (frontman of Muse) said something along the lines of
"Prince is amazing. I mean he could technically be labelled a midget, but I remember when I saw Purple Rain with my mum and just watching in awe" Remember, it was a long time ago so I may have missed some things but that was the jist of it! Also it may not mean much to those in the States but here in the UK, Russell Brand, a famous comedian, frequently plays Prince songs on his radio show and mentions him in his stand-up comedy routine. He said after playing Raspberry Beret on his radio show "I didn't reall take much notice of Prince until I saw him performing live somewhere and it was bloody good!"

I also think Cornell West became a fan as of late....Not too many people refer to Prince as a GIANT among us.

Wayne Rooney was so delighted that a person existed who was actually called 'Prince' he spontaneously combusted AND THEN went out and bought Prince's entire back catalogue. Since then, Wayne has not been seen without a small, but very visible, purple sash over his right shoulder.... and he's been wearing his hair swept back on one side.

He's with our son now.' Mayte 21st April 2016 = the saddest quote I have ever read! RIP Prince and thanks for everything.

Ed Byrne the Irish comedian. He bought one of Prince's guitars at an auction and he brought it on to show off on a UK breakfast show. They had some guy as a guest who was a musician and Ed absolutely flipped when he got him to play the opening bars of Kiss on the guitar he bought.
