Probably a stupid thought but I'll post it anyway. How do you think Prince's band feel about playing not only a main arena concert for a couple of hours but also playing an aftershow for another couple. I'm sure they know it comes with the job but not everybody has the stamina of Prince and they must feel some nights like just kicking back or going to bed. Do you think some of them think 'Oh fuck. I just want to chill out in the hotel room and watch some tv!'

Yeah, I know what U mean. After GMA, I asked one of them if he wanted to catch breakfast. He said, "We did Maceo's show [the night before], then came straight here to set up and do soundcheck. I've been up since early yesterday. I'm going to bed. I'll eat later, if at all."

I couldn't live like that. I get grouchy if the METS are playing on the west coast and the game doesn't start till 10:00!
