I recently bought the Lovesexy '88 tourbook from Cheapos in MPLS. There was a post about Camille was a boy or girl..obviously it was proven male. How can Prince write this long string of poetry around BEAUTIFUL photos and act like it never happened? Never discuss it? Has HE said anything about it in the past?

What is Cheapos?

He did a interveiw back in 1998 in Yahoo magazine where the interveiwer brought up the origin of Camile and who it is. The interveiwer's brother knew the origin and prince agrreed his answer was correct in a round about way. I will get more details, I have the mag at home.

Yahoo magazine dated oct 1997- Yahoo interveiwer-" This may sound nuts, but does the Camille alter ego, which you used on "sign O the times" have anything to do with the famous nineteenth century hermaphodite Herculine Barbin, who was nicknamed Cammile? I think Camille is simply the female side of the Gemini Prince.

The Lovesexy tour book has some AWFUL pics of Prince. Ick.

i didn't know the cheapo in uptown sold stuff like tourbooks...i go there all the time and i never see stuff like that, just cds & all the vinyl in the world...
