Best Summer Album Well, it's about 95 degrees where I am (Ohio), which makes for a hell of a hot day, but it's always nice to roll down the windows, open the sunroof, and blast some music as you're driving. My question is this... what would be your pick for the best Prince album to bust out in the middle of summer and blast as your cruising? Which one fits the mood for a hot summer day?
I'd have to go with one of the more upbeat albums, but I'm not quite sure which I would pick...

"Parade" is my favorite Spring album - by ANYone - but I don't really think of Prince albums as summer music specifically. I guess Musicology reminds me of the Summer of 2004, but I still don't think of it as an album that goes with the season. Maybe the Batman soundtrack? It's pretty light and fun.

Parade and Emancipation ALWAYS remind me of amazing summers gone by. Occupy Alphabet Street!

Purple Rain...no question. The summer of 84 was the best year of my high school career and this was its soundtrack.
Parade and SOTT remind me of spring...prolly cause thats when they came out. Black Album makes me think of fall...I have no idea why. those are the only albums I can think of that remind me of seasons. [Edited 7/31/07 16:43pm]
