Days of Wild is so...... Audacious and bare of "Prince's Usual Setting of Formula". There's like a eulogic phrasing and algo-rhythmic atmosphere set up in it all with that funky bass, that organ, and the little clean guitar solo in the middle of it during the breakdown. Fucking marvelous! Which rendition of the performance do you guys like better? Are you in favor of "The Beautiful Experience" version or "Love 4 1 Another" version? [Edited 7/31/07 9:40am] | |

I love several different versions of this song, most of them run 20+minutes. One in particular features someone (Prince or Tommy?) going absolutely bonkers on a synthesizer for several minutes straight. LOVE it!! | |

I have that version and, indeed, the guitar on it is "SO" sick. But, weirdly enough, it seems a bit bare to me without the presence of the synthesizer, the organ, the bass, and of course, "Michael Bland's Drumming". | |
