Can't Stop This Feeling I Got: An Underrated Gem Was Graffiti Brdige horrible...yes, but the soundtrack is one of Prince's best in my opinion. My two favorite tracks are Elephants and Flowers and this. CSTFIG is probably in my top 10 Prince songs. Everytime I'm walking, driving, or whatever, I feel like I'm in the opening of an 80's or early 90's teen flick. For some reason, that's awesome.

The CD is very hit and miss.... Some songs are great, but some are among my least favourite. "Knowledge is preferable to ignorance. Better by far to embrace the hard truth than a reassuring faith. If we crave some cosmic purpose, then let us find ourselves a worthy goal" - Carl Sagan

I love this album and consider it one of Prince's best, and I love that song too. But I prefer the unreleased version of this song that ends with him going, "If that don't work..." "Yeah, what?" then We Can Funk kicks in. So awesome.

Yeah, I've never felt this song. There's a couple of lead songs from this era, this one, "Thunder," "My Name is Prince" that try too hard to bring the drama, but can't manage to do it.

I hate when some fans say "I prefer the unreleased" version , that I usually don't know, but the first unreleased one is far better imo.

I agree about the unreleased version being better. The Grafitti Bridge album could have been incredible if you listen to all the unreleased versions of the songs that are floating around...like the original version of "We Can Funk" is so much better than the corny released version with George Clinton....same goes for the original "Tick Tick Bang." The released versions of "Joy In Repetition" and "Question of U" are both awesome but if you take those 2 great songs and then "fix" some of the other songs with their original versions then this album is a masterpiece. It's a nice, fun intoduction to the album but I also prefer the unreleased version coupled with Girl O My Dreams because for me,that version is much more spirited and lively.

You can manage to like the version of WE Can FUnk on the album just fine as long as you don't ever hear the unreleased original. If you do it'll ruin it for you. Its just killa!! "Why'd I waste my kisses on you baby?" R.I.P. Prince You've finally found your way back home. Well Done.
