A cant believe that anyone could say Prince needs help with songwriting, words truly fail me... and ALSO that he needs a hit, what absolute BS 
Also people saying that PE (the album) has no elements of rock

Words like this are obviously written by people who know very little about real music and writing songs. TRULY UNBELIEVABLE !!! PE is a rock album but an uninspired one. His 90s rock songs kills everything on PE. Everything has become so predictable. He was giving us funk like hide the bone, shy, Billy Jack bitch during his so called "weak" phase. Yes he is back in the public eye, making big moves, selling records but he aint making good music. He should just re-release his best of the 90s cause most folks probably haven't heard of killer songs like the love we make, joint to joint, white mansion, in this bed I scream, sex in the summer ect (and that's just from Emancipation). He doesn't need a producer like say an MJ but he needs someone to tell him to his face that this track is shit! | |

I went to Brian Mcknight's concert last night at the nokia theatre here in NYC.
He had his two sons come out on stage and do a little something with him which was really nice. Right in the midst of things, his 14 yr old son pulled out a guitar and asked the crowd "Are yall ready to go crazy"? The crowd responded and two seconds later a silhouette of Mr.Purple Rain was on the screen in the background. Although Brian Mcknight's son ripped the guitar solo at the end of "Let's go crazy"(very very very good job)....The crowd went nuts when they were showing clips of our man in the back. They loved Brian...But when Prince showed up on the screen, that was the loudest they were all night!!! | |
