IS ANYONE PROMOTING PLANET EARTH? I was just wondering, cause I haven't heard or seen anything. I know Prince is getting ready to tour England so I'm not expecting a lot of TV appearances but I haven't seen ANYTHING. No ads, No commercials, Promos nothing. Is he just going to drop the cd and move on or what?
I figure he's really not trying to score a billboard hit with PE with the giveaway, but I thought there would be something in the media. Maybe Columbia Records is too pissed off at him to make much of a fuss, and it wouldn't be unusual for him to just move on to something new after the London shows. He gets it! That's why the ladies love him...  | |

The Verizon commercials say something about Guitar being on the new album. Other folks have mentioned seeing posters plastered about also. | |

Yeah, I've seen several television ads for Target and Circuit City advertising Planet Earth with different songs playing in the background.

None of the record stores in my area (and I'm talking big ones like Virgin Megastore) have got it ! It is the first time I can't find a new Prince release in store !

I went 2 Borders 2nite and they have a PE poster in one of the aisles-- about 3 feet by 2 feet-- with stacks of PE there "on sale" 4 $14.99. I tried 2 c if I can unhinge the framed poster and sneak it out but it's bolted in "Just like the sun, the Rainbow Children rise."
