Top 15 Love Songs Before 1990. It's obvious that in time being in the music biz you get better with age. And Prince is no exception. His ballads are up there with the best balladeers of all time. Like Luther, Jeffrey, Marvin, Peabo, and Brian. After 1990, he's come with such classics as: Shhh, The Most Beautiful Girl.., Insatiable, and D&P. But I want you guys to list in order your faves before the year 1990. In P album years that would be before Graffiti Bridge. Here's mine:
1. Adore 2. The Beautiful Ones 3. Scandalous 4. Purple Rain 5. With You 6. Do Me Baby 7. She's Always In My Hair 8. Conditon Of the Heart 9. International Lover 10. Slow Love 11. When 2 R In Love 12. It's Gonna Be Lonely 13. Take Me With U 14. For You 15. So Blue Peace and be wild!

[Edited 8/24/07 19:33pm] [/quote]Are You smoking? 85? Purple Rain was 84. The follow-up to PR was ATWIAD. Not GB. That came after Parade, SOTT, Lovesexy, and Batman which was 89. I should know. That was the year I graduated high school so I remember everything that year partner. Peace and be wild!

I’m not broadminded enough in my definition of the word to include great tracks like “Purple Rain” and “She’s Always in My Hair”. Besides, before long, I’d be including everything that wasn’t hard and fast.
Best ballads prior to 1990, unranked but in their chronological release order. On the sexual tip: Baby Do Me Baby How Come U Don’t Call Me Anymore? International Lover The Beautiful Ones Condition of the Heart Alexa de Paris Under the Cherry Moon Sometimes It Snows In April Crucial Slow Love Adore When 2 R In Love Scandalous On the Religious Tip: The Ladder Power Fantastic Still Would Stand All Time
