I know it is like 3 years old,but i think it is so wild.
In case you arent familliar with it,Semisonic are a band from Minneapolis,& are fans of our man Prince,& the b-side of their single "Secret Smile",in Australia at least,was a really rockin version of Erotic City,which i think is just outta this world!
The guitars & drums are so WOW!
if u can get a hold of the single in a 2nd hand store,do yourself a favor,u will love it

I first heard them play it on Howard Stern. It was pretty good. Not alot of ppl could've pulled it off, but they did.

Wow. I completely disagree. I'm not a big Semisonic fan, but I bought the Singing In My Sleep single (quite a few years back), and it's included on that (here in the States).
I thought it sounded just plain weird. Something just isn't quite right about it. Now, I like a good cover as much as the next guy, but I felt like this one wasn't a good choice.

I haven't heard any of their PRince covers, but I DO dig this band. "Closing Time" is my favorite.

Semisonic opened for Prince at the Fillmore in San Francisco back in 2001. Actually, it was a coincidence that Semisonic had a concert there, and Prince chose the same venue that night for his aftershow.
