PrintableLovesexy was huge in Europe and the UK, but did not do very well in the States, perhaps making it more a "fans" album here. This is the only Prince album that made me cry at first listen. Not even SOTT did that to me. Also, anyone who attended the Lovesexy tour knows it was an experience of a lifetime. Plus, the whole album has a positive vibe. Gotta love it! I do. | |

My vote's for Lovesexy. Love it but for this, it has to go. I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that | |

Whilst i'd agree Lovesexy is certainly a lively album with a "positive vibe"(as u put it), it never really struck me as emotionally stirring (Anna Stesia asides,of course!).Nor have i ever really considered it 2 b chock-a-block with stand-out songs(unlike,say, SOTT eg.adore,the cross,if i was ur girlfriend,ballad of dorothy parker,sott,etc.),enjoyable though it is. | |

Actually, it was because of "AnnaStesia" -- I couldn't take it anymore after the adrenaline rush of the first three songs, and then AnnaStesia broke the dam. Damn. I like to listen to this album on a sunny day driving around in my car. | |
