Dirty Mind a great album but it sounds dated. Sure its 22 years old you say, but i play Ohio Players and Funkadelic from nearly a decade earlier which has aged better than DM. Great songs but it just sounds too much of its period, yeah i know it's significance but age has not been kind to this Prince album. | |

It is evident that DM is going to go...heed this warning. You will rue the day when you have to attone for voting off DM..(Ive always wanted to say 'you will rue the day'--what does that mean anyways, rue? 1999... it's all great, but too self-indulgent. a 40 minute disc of edits needs to be released. losing "Free" wouldn't hurt it either.

When i surveyed the list on round 13, my gut reaction was that it was a little out of its depth in such esteemed company.  Now it's starting 2 look downright incongrous!
I'd have kept TRC ahead of it with little or no hesitation. Ok, so that last remark is tantamount 2 sacrilege 2 99.999 % of u, but at least it's honest. 
In any case, this survivor game is dull enough as it is; a couple of dissenting voices shouldn't go amiss. | |
