I see everyone complaining bout not getting tix to the London shows.

Did anyone get tix?

I have a feeling the NPGMC presale messed up is all.

This happened in Kentucky n Ohio in the U.S.

So if NO ONE was able to purchase tix,

This might be the reason n NPGMC just put the Sold Out Screen for the time being. (shoulda put somethign else up)

Of coarse, if people WERE able to get tix, then my assumption is wrong.

So get tix?

yes..it seems that way.

People who got tix said so in the concerts section. People who did not came here.

I am AMAZED that all 3 shows sold out within an hour and a half.

Hopefully more tickets will be released.

Much quicker then the U.S. shows.

It shows he has a STRONGER fan base over seas still.

I diddn't get tickets after trying for an hour and a half.
There wasn't even a place on my screen to click on for tickets. I clicked the presale member retail on the one page, but when I got to the retail page, it wasn't there.
Did this happen to anyone else?

i did get tix but only Thursday was left after 1hr 10 min trying to get connected. I was hard work but got there in the end but no chance to get to all three as a member.

I got 1 ticket for Friday 4 Oct. Had also wanted 2 tix for Saturday but that was sold out (so my girlfriend ain't going!)

Feel real bad for members who got none.

hate to say this lovebird, but you may just have overlooked it - i did it too until it dawned on me the shows were listed amongst all the other junk sold...i expected a new looking page, not gigs listed among shirts and hats...

it took over an hour to get through (pages seemed to take an eternity to load) but i managed to get a ticket for Thursday and 2 for Friday

Here's my story.

I got back from a lovely weeks camping in Cornwall on Thursday evening. Checked my e-mail to see the message from NPGMC confirming UK tour dates and the pre-sale starting Friday at 10am BST. Luckily I had also booked the Friday off work too. Checked the diary with my other half and we both decided Friday 4th October was the best day for us.

Woke up the next morning at about 8:30. Had a lie in for just over an hour. Switched on my PC at about 9:45am and logged onto the internet at about 9:50 to 9:55. Logged into NPGMC members section, pages were a lot slower than normal (I only have a normal telephone internet connection) about 5-10 minutes for the retail section. Had to refresh the page that says "Start Shopping" once. Once the premium retail page had loaded I saw the 3 London concert items, guessed that the middle one was the Friday night (all the text had not loaded), typed in 2 tix and then checked out, put in my card details and got to the confirmation page with my number up on screen. I was done and dusted by about 10:45am. No major problems.

I realise now that I was one of the lucky ones, and I am not gloating in any way. I was surprised and felt bad to see so many of you were disappointed (esp those with broadband connections). Perhaps the fact that I went for just 2 tix on Friday had something to do with it.

The only slight downside was the $100 ticket price (which works out to be about £70-75). This is the most I have ever paid to see Prince but I was expecting it after reading about the US tour prices and seeing the Ticketmaster £65 Premium seating price for the general public.

Sorry to all the unlucky ones, for me there was no real problem.

Does this mean u guys (who got tix from npgmc) go 2 the soundcheck as well... or was that extra cash?
