I think there is enough Australian fans to at least have one concert in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. Last time he was here he had just the one in each city, then added on as he wanted.

I know a lot of people who would go... and yeah, they're not exactly heavy fans... but they would go all the same.. if the word got out there.

Of course I would go... no shock and horror there wink

It just aint right, he can't go to Japan, and not come to Australia! sad

I must sound like a broken record... I've been going on and on about him coming to Australia for what seems like a lifetime!

I flew over the ditch from NZ to Aussie in '92 for the first night of the Sydney Concert- and I'd do it again - only now I am married, have a baby and have a job - can't exactly put more on the student loan now !!!smile hell I have only just paid it off!
I have only in the last couple of months booked our family holiday in Surfers Paradise in January next year (frequent flyer points are great!!! - so I doubt he'll be there when I am over there dammit - this is what hacks me off -u can't make any plans with Prince - everything has to be a suprise...he doesn't think that some of us just can't drop everything and pay up front 4 everything...if I go or not this time I don't know - I would love to but well - we ain't all number 1 at the bank are we? I'd love to take my wife with me - as she would like to go but I don't think I can justify the cost - and unless he comes to the south island in NZ - I can't afford to fly to Aussie or the North Island...how come its cheaper to go to Australia than to the north Island of my own country?

I'll be there , and i know of a good dozen others that will be there as well.
I also agree with Diva, last time round he did 6 shows in Melbourne and 7 in Sydney, one which was an outdoor concert which got about 40,000 ppl.

Yeah, I know about 10 - 12 people who would go too.

He played in front of about 200,000 people all up in 1992. It's hard to imagine he couldnt sell out 2-3 concerts in Melbourne and Sydney in 3000 capacity theatres. In fact, I'm sure he would if the tickets are kept under $150.00 AUS ($80 -$85 USD).

It's cheap to tour here now and he's only a short distance away in Japan in November.

Come on Princey, get here.
When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading.
