I would add more guitar solos, the overall sound of the album would be affected positively.

more soloing would be nice.


also, this is actually the first time in a long time that i think that he's had enough strong material to fill up more of the disc. but then again, that could be because we're just getting the 10 best songs, and none of the Life O' The Parties or Incense & Candles and Undisputeds, etc. you know? could be he only had 10 songs of quality this high.

It's not perfect, but Planet Earth is a darn sight better than his last few releases. Unlike Musicology or 3121, I can happily let the album run beginning to end without pressing the skip button every few minutes.

This album has really re-stored my once waning faith that he is still capable of achieving greatness. 3121 is such a terrible, bland, lacklustre album in comparison that I'm just thankful for something better.

If I could change one thing on the Planet Earth album, I'd ditch Chelsea Rodgers. It just seems out of place amongst everything else and I think it's also poor from a lyrical point of view. It's the only track that I find myself skipping and things flow much better from All The Midnights to Lion Of Judah without Chelsea there.

If I could change two things, I'd increase the solos on Guitar and The 1 U Wanna C to make up for the space lost in the ditching of Chelsea. The fade outs on those two tracks really leave me wanting more.

The order of the tracks. Imao the best tracks are the first 5 tracks. Then it gets worse and Resolution is probably the worst ending of a Prince cd ever.

I think PE would be a much better album: in terms of the flow of the songs, and the overal quality, if he had replaced those two annoying, generic R&B tracks: -- Future Baby Mama
- Mr. Goodnight

with 2 of the songs he performed in Vegas and the Superbowl:
- The long and winding Road (instead of FBM)
- All along the watchtower / the best of you (instead of Mr. Goodnight)

everything. I listen to it on MSN, and hate it. First time I hate a Prince album. In fact I really think that anybody could have done such a CD, it doesn't sound Prince at all. I won't buy it

Wouldn't have wanted PE as the first track...should be closer to the end.

More solos, both versions of "Guitar"....and a 7 page spread of Prince in various fashions.

PE is still my favorite track on the album &
one of the best things i think he's ever written.

They should have gave away the PE cd thru Kleenex, so the fans could go boo hoo new Prince cd!

Then I would want extended versions (7 to 12 minutes) of "Planet Earth", "Guitar", "The 1 U Wanna C", "Chelsea Rodgers" and "Lion of Judah" on separate releases.

That's how I get more guitar without the self indulgent wisecracks.

Definitely some better, more fleshed out packaging.

I would get rid of tracks 1,9, & 10. Waste of space.

The album Is Too Short!!!!!..... .....I'm tired of the's 40 mabye 50 minute albums

I dont expect an 80 minute album,
But come on.... Take advantage of some of the extra time/room u have on a cd
