Playlist idea: The Planet Earth musical pallette

There comes a point where "older" Prince music seems so familiar, so engrained, that hearing new Prince music in the context of his whole canon can be difficult. To that end, I created this playlist, incorporating all the PE tracks, each one preceded by tracks with their predecessors - tracks of a similar feel. I'm not saying the new tracks are copying the older tracks; just that they are cut from the same cloth. You may disagree with some of the tracks (or just not like them - many of these are not personal favorites at all), but give it a go - it's an interesting listen, and I'm impressed with how well the Planet Earth tracks fit in:

3 Chains O’ Gold
The Love We Make
Strays Of The World
Empty Room [studio version]
When Will We B Paid?
Planet Earth
Peach
Endorphinmachine
Sarah
Zannalee
Baby Knows
Vavoom
Guitar
Under The Cherry Moon
Power Fantastic
Sweet Baby
U’re Gonna C Me
Silver Tongue (Demo)
Somewhere Here On Earth
When You Were Mine
U Got The Look
Damned If I Do
So Far, So Pleased
The One U Wanna C
The Ballad Of Dorothy Parker
Friend, Lover, Sister, Mother/Wife
U Make My Sun Shine
Underneath The Cream
What Do U Want Me 2 Do?
Future Baby Mama
Dreamin’ About U
2morrow
Shoo-Bed-Ooh
Breathe
Mr. Goodnight
Starfish And Coffee
Into The Light
Tangerine
Pearls B4 The Swine
All The Midnights In The World
Just As Long As We’re Together
Sexy Dancer
Everyday Is A Winding Road
Hypnoparadise
The Everlasting Now
Chelsea Rodgers
The Cross
Money Don’t Matter 2 Night
The Holy River
A Million Days
Lion Of Judah
The Morning Papers
I Will
Cinnamon Girl
Resolution

As I've been listening to it, I realised that while Purple Rain and Lovesexy are two favorite albums, none of their tracks ended up here.
