I have been listening ot it for about two weeks now:
* In the car;
* On my mobile phone (which also has an mp3-player) when I'm riding my bicycle;
* At my birthday party last week;
* At work, as the room I work in is so crowded I can only think with some music on;
* Wile surfing the internet.

Oh and:
* I use a 7 second piece of Chelsea Rodgers for a ringtone;
* I use the last 16 seconds of Revelation as text message notification.

PE2007

Yes, I've been listening to PE since I got it last saturday. Yes thats right, a local mom and pop store was selling it during the weekend and I've been listening non stop, leaving all my other cds at home and only listening to PE, in my car and at work.

Lion of Judah
Chelsea Rodgers
The One U Wanna C
Somewhere here on earth
Future Baby Mama/Mr Good night
All The Midnights in the world
Guitar

I've listened to over and over again!

The album as a whole is Absolutely GREAT, but too short!

You mean that you imported/ripped the CD into iTunes? Because it's not available for download.

I've noticed that the older I get, the shorter my attention span is to new music. Instead, I find myself listening to iTunes/iPod on Shuffle mode alot.

Musicology held my interest a lot longer than 3121.

I'm right there with ya. neutral I got the bad quality download a couple weeks ago...didn't really like the songs upon first listen. Made myself listen to the album 4-5 times until I couldn't stand to do so anymore. I bought the official album yesterday & listened once to 2/3 of the songs (b/c there are a few that I really just can't bear to listen to), sound quality was better, but songs...not so much.

I burned it to my computer at work today and tried to listen to it again. By the time it got to Somewhere Here on Earth I couldn't take it anymore. I had to switch to some James Brown funk because Prince's falsetto was making my ears bleed. (And Somewhere Here on Earth is one of 2 songs on the album that I actually like.) sigh

I want to like this album, I really do; I'm trying so hard to listen & appreciate it. But fucking hell--everytime I listen to it, the songs I don't like, I hate even more. I fear this may rival Emancipation for my least favorite Prince album--and I HATE Emancipation with a passion. confused

I've been listening 2 Planet earth for the last 3 weeks and I'm still hooked on it. Much 2 damn short of a Prince album! I just hope he drops another cd or two b4 the year ends. I thought that was one of the reasons he left Warners. Hopefully the next album will be at least a double cd set!
Don't u want to come , 3121. It's gonna be so much fun, 3121. That's where the party be, 3121. Y'all can come if u want to, but u can never leave!

I don't post here much, and mean no disrespect, but I am ABSOLUTELY STUNNED that this album is getting the favorable treatment it is from the majority of Prince fans.

I must be missing something cause IMHO this is the most boring album the man has put out to date.

I am truly glad some are enjoying it though!

I finally got it yesterday and have been listening to it pretty much non-stop since. Very listenable and fun. The One U Wanna C, Somewhere Here on Earth, All The Mignights, and Chelsea Rogers are the highlights for me.
