check out rave un2 the year 2000 ... he is always all up in prince's grill .. trying to stand in line with, if not in FRONT of prince on stage...

I think Larry is cool,but it seems like the fans want him to go cause they think he's influencing Prince too much. I think Larry should go before some nut cracks up. I think that Prince is partly responsible for the way that fans reacted to Larry and Tina. People blamed Larry, but in reality it has always been Prince who is in charge.

It was Prince's decision to play a lot of Sly covers at his shows. It was Prince's decision to allow members of the Family Stone, who probably haven't played any gigs for 15 years, to join the NPG on stage. It was Prince's decision to change the lyrics to suggestive or sexy songs and it was Prince's decision to stop dancing and to stop having a sexy dancer onstage with him.

In interviews, it was Prince's decision to attribute everything he's learned to Larry Graham. The bottom line is that Prince pushed Larry into the spotlight, and Larry grabbed it, despite the fact that Larry and Jehovah Witness doctrine is not really all that compatible with the fanbase that Prince has built.

one thing we all need to remember is, Prince has never acknoweldged being baptised...all the stuff that is sold on the npgmc site is in contrast to the JW's beliefs on worshiping...I figured it would only be time before the elders starting to point these things out to Prince and Larry..and its realistic to see Larry agree and Prince not...Prince has always been a selfish arse...I just cant see him sticking with a religion that preaches unity *and* strict following of the rules...

and yes, idol worshiping is shunned upon...its a big no no!! you do not treat anyone else but Jehovah like a god...

and Prince, with his celebration events, his selling of products with his name on it, his selling of his image for profit, all this stuff is a no no...

as I child I remember my grandmother pointing out a black actress who had a hit tv show in the 70's...I think the show might have been called "Angie".at anyrate, she left Hollywood because she felt that the whole concept of being a *star* was in conflit with Jehovah's teachings...

but, Prince isnt bold enough to have convictions that strong...

Prince and Larry appeared to have founded a very strong friendship. He was certainly still around back in June at the Celebration.

As far as the JW thing goes. I have said from day one that he will not stick with it. The religion is to strict and does not work for a pop musician. I can see him remaining a christian as much as you people seem to think that JW's are the only religious denomination on the earth. I'll let you know it is not. There are a lot of other organizations he could join.
