A New Prince album is like kids with presents on Christmas Day! For some of us it doesnt matter about any pre-reviews or anything, We buy that mother regardless! Like Today on release Date. Hardcore Fans know what I mean... Other orgers like this give a shout out?

I do that! I really do that all the time. I only do that for Prince and anothe artist, because I love them so much and I trust in thier abilities and I know that the albums will rock my ass off!

I was in Best Buy at 10:01 and I was NOT the first to buy mine.... I saw the cover and went cool....that feeling never changes when I see a new Prince CD at the store....

Always have done since 1984, always will do.

Except for the internet-only releases... my credit card's usually maxed out.

I didn't get my copy yet, but I will soon

Oh yeah, I always get the new Prince album, regardless of whether I hear it before it gets officially released or not. I like to see the liner notes, and to see if there are lyrics included.

I always get a Prince CD the day it comes out. I don't care if I heard a leak of the CD or if I don't like the CD, I have to buy it. It all about completion of my collection and cause I just love Prince and his music. I rarely do this for anyone else.

When I brought my CD today, it was great to see that the section for Planet Earth by the New Release section was empty. In the Prince section, I saw 2 guys pick it up and buy it. I never get tired of that. Never.

I do...and I will untill he stops making them. Regardless of how rich he is...he's such a positive source of change or anything in the music industry in ANY way, shape or form, it's difficult not to support him.

He's like become an old homie...the kind U wanna support if u like the record or not...U buy it just cuz it'll help him make the next record which U prolly will enjoy.


and this is really sad...I'm here living damn near hand to mouth and that fool is getting his hair did every day...and I'm buying HIS record...oh well...he brings me enough happines.

well- its not just b/c its Prince, but I do like the songs on it- so I buy it because its good (2 me @ least) and because its Prince. The best of both worlds!!

My husband surprised me with Prince's new CD today! He left it in my car for me to find. He's the Best!!!

that's how many I bought today cuz I'm like that. And the one I have on pre-order from Amazon makes it 7 now that I think about it.

I left work at noon and said, "I have some errands to run".

I bought my copy this afternoon. And sense I've only recently really gotten into Prince, this is the first time that I've ever bought a "new release" by him, so I was looking forward to getting it. Plus, I'm actually enjoying the album, so that's all I can really ask for.

regardless! I usually buy more than one too...never know when someone needs a Prince fix at the last minute...

Bought it at Wal-Mart...it was $13.88 and I could have gotten it at Best Buy for $9.99. Oh well, P is worth the extra 4 bucks.

I anticipate that i will always be purchasing Prince material on release day. It's like a mini holiday for me...24 years and counting here.

I got mine, along with the goofiest cashier ever who didn't know his name has been Prince for awhile now,but Target got the 9.99 sale going on so I can't complain...

I rushed to Target to get mine.As soon as I saw it on the new release display my heart started beating fast. I noticed there were alot of empty slots where it was suppose to be.I felt so proud when I was at the checkout, because I felt like I was representing.I am playing it now ,and it's really growing on me.Although other than the front cover I am very disappointed in the packaging.No liner notes, lyrics, just credits.That's usually the reason why I prefer to buy the cd instead of downloading, but there's not much extra.But anyway... Thank God I'm Prince fan, because it sure does feel good.
