I remember once reading that Prince took an E, around the time of the Black Album and had invited a women to join him and another women in a threesome? Is this right or did I just make it up? Can't remember the book it was in but I'm sure he experimented a little. Anyone shed any light on this?

Most people are quite convinced including that Eric Leeds that Prince had a bad Ecstasy trip in 1988. There are a few people on this site who believe that Prince would never do any wrong who will fight this tooth and nail, but with all the ecstasy references in his music from that era I believe that it's a safe assumption that he tried it.

Yeah,but even if he did take an E well we don't want Children copying this do we? I know some people that will do anything just because a Rock Star or their Idol did it. This is the reason I can't say to expose such truth. And I'm not Condoning such behavior either. I would hope Prince cares about his Health and Life to stay Clean and Healthy. I Care TOO much to see anything Happen to him. I even don't want him to take Steroid Injections because look at Swarzenhagger{I KNOW THE SPELLING IS OFF.} He got Health problems and that other guy got Cancer from it. I believe people should try to do things Naturally. Manufactured products in our body namely Drugs unless prescribed by a Doctor is Harmful to the Body and Mind. So many Hollywood Stars are Killing themselves because of Drugs. What about River Phoenix? He was a Vegetarian who took all types of Drugs and had a Massive Overdose outside the Viper Room and what a Damn Loss? Don't try Drugs then you'll Never know what you're missing and maybe you'll save your life. I know people smoke Pot. I'm not condoning it,but it is the lesser of all Evils. I'm just saying all that Heroin and Coke is a Damn killer to your Heart and Internal Organs. Beauty does not come from Drugs or Alcohol! Did you ever see a Beautiful Alcoholic or Heroin addict? Their teeth are usually Rotten to all Hell. I'm not saying don't have a drink or get smashed once in awhile,but if something takes over your life you better run to Re-hab. It's not good. Don't you like to stay in control. Certainly never drink and drive . Please find a designated driver. That's it I said my Peace.

Everybody at some point in their life experiments with some sort of intoxicating drug... No Biggie: Nicotine, Alcohol (BKW) Marijuana(and all it's relatives), Extacy, even Crack, Coke and Cocaine...

And I mean everybody...so it's no big deal that Prince has experimented. He grew up in the 60's and 70's, who wasn't on something in those decades.

Sorry off hand I don't remember the book. Blue Prince listen not everybody who grew up in the 60's experimented. I know my Aunt never took drugs and she's 50. And I am sure not everybody has experimented in their lives. Just because something is available doesn't mean Everybody Partakes. I would Never smoke Crack! That's Retarded what you Said! Go on some Fasts. Did ya know if you give up Smoking after 7 years your lungs can Repair Themselves? Listen, I would Help anybody stay Clean all the have to do is want my Help and Ask me and I would. But I'm not a Doctor you know. I can only be Supportive of course. I would never say the person is bad. Cause that's an Addiction. Never Condemn the Person. Help them! They have to ask and then be there to Help them. Be a TRUE FRIEND! Love them. Don't ever help a Friend to Destroy themselves. If a person has a Drug problem well please take them to a Re-Hab Facility.

i think the book was "DMSR" by per nelson and the woman in question was ingrid chavez...

the book is good only for those interested in minute (sp) details of his life...other than that it comes across more as a critic's review/opinion on the man...

People get involved with drugs for many reasons, but when you quit, you don't want to have it keep coming up in conversation time after time.

If he did E at some point, decided it was stupid, and quit, then let it be. The speculated time that this supposedly happened was years ago, long in the past.

One thing I HATE about the Org is people mentioning these books, making me want to read them. My dumb ass read DMSR too, that part creeped me OUT - I keep picturing him standing in partial darkness, pupils fully dilated (with those big-ass, gorgeous eyes), asking "Do you love me?" :O I would have bounced too, ala Susan Rogers...
