I didnt hear the album yet...on which track do they play? "Planet Earth"? there is absolutely no way of saying who plays on what since it's not mentioned anywhere specifically. the only way to make it out is by ear and that's a tricky matter since everyone was talking about how nice it was to hear wendy and lisa backing vox again and how they suited prince so well and now from the credits it's apparant they don't sing at all on the album It is funny that people think that they know exactly what Wendy and Lisa did... I remember a friend of mine swearing in 1985 that one of them had vocals on When Doves Cry. At the same time the credits are not always accurate. My art book: http://www.lulu.com/spotl...ecomicskid

With the inclusion of Michael B. and Sonny T, the thing that fascinates me is the possibility that the album may include "vault" material. Of course I'm sure Michael or Sonny would easily come in the studio to perform on a new song, it is just as likely that the songs they play on were recorded some time ago.
Funny, because I was just thinking that some of the bass playing sounded very interesting. Now I'm really curious to know Sonny T's contribution. "You've got to believe in something... why not believe in me?"

Haven't they been coming into the studio to jam with Prince in the last few years? the title track 3121 was one recent track derived from these meetings according to Micheal B, from what I remember. Pretty interesting the last page -- the back cover of the CD.
Take a good look, what do you see? I see that Prince and Paisley Park are doing some cross-promotion. Is that 3121 perfume I see washed out in the background?

"Still got butt like a leather seat" which always seemed foul. is actually "like a letter C" ..and I thought it was "like I've never seen"...oops...! U know, I swear that I hear him saying that, at least on one of the overdubs. "He's a musician's musician..."

I thought the other tracks were only grooves. But it seems they recorded at least a full song. Or maybe were invited later, who knows?

It's either Mike and Sonny on Drums and Bass there, or it's all Prince, 'cause Prince is definitely playing all other instruments. "He's a musician's musician..."

can you invert the image using photoshop or something , so that its black writing on a white background and more printer-friendly . I'm not that happy about having to print out the lyrics really , I hope this isnt gonna be a regular thing with future CDs , is a little lyrics booklet really that hard to do nowadays Mr . Nelson ? Paging Graycap23. Graycap23 to the Planet Earth lyrics thread, please. Clean up on track one, the opening lines to Planet Earth are not "dance the dance electric." (Reply #97)

Is anybody else having trouble getting that link to open? I do have Adobe, and when I click on the link, I get a box, but the lyrics don't show up. I wonder if my pop-up blocker is interferring with it. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

I'm excited with my new CD! I got it from Best Buy, I had to let a tiny scream out when the guy handed it to me (I had trouble finding it ) Well, although it sucks that there is no booklet, I was sort of Expecting a tracklist ... I still LOVE it though!!!
Now i gotta check out the lyrics!
