No matter how U look at it, THIS is how it is We can all debate day in day out about PRINCE and his albums, but at the end of the day we all like different things, the beauty of Prince and other artists that have had careers and lots of albums is there is something for everyone, every mood , every feeling. Shit some days i wanna hear Into the Light and Dolphin and somedays i wanna hear Mad Sex, and then some days i wanna hear Dont Play me or Take Me with U and right now I am listening to Planet Earth over and over, so Opinions will come and go, but be thankful you have an artist like PRince with a WIDE array of music that you can find something everyday that u wanna hear and somedays not hear. So give it up already with this "i wish he would do this or that, or promotoe this or that, HE AINT GONNA DO IT. there's so many contradictions up in this one post it would make Mitt Romney proud. How?? it says we all LIKE different things, if u dont like this song, someone else loves it, Prince isnt just making music for one person, theres tons to choose from, so go make your choice and stop worrying about his promotion and what he worships because he isnt going to change because you dont dig a track. If Prince confromed to that he would be nothing more than....Rihanna or Ne-Yo. It's true he disappoints with each album which is then appreciated later. He will never do what you want, but seems to always do something.

I agree. There are too many of us to all like/love the same things...
I always get amused/ticked off (mixed emotion) when I read comments from people when definitively declare an album or song as "$#!&" or "Prince's best ever", because who are they to make those determinations? Those are simply their personal preferences. 
I go thru the same cycles of music. I'll play one album to death, then won't touch it for a year. I've recently separated all the slow songs into a separate playlist on my iPod because when they shuffled thru they messed up my "groove"  . THAT's been my playlist of choice. Now PE is my new "jam".
