Yes yes yes and also on 1+1+1=3. The drums are great anywhere on the album. Drum technically, this is a very lickable album. They sound like never before on a Prince record. Very modest and natural and at the same time brilliant and functional. I can both dance and sleep on them. What I like about the drums on 1+1+1=3 is the little bit of reverb on the kick drum. It makes it sound like a punch, while it's in no way loud. The same is true for the kick in 'hot thing', btw. Yes yes yes | |
