It's funny because it seems like lately, wherever I'm at a public place where there is prerecorded music playing, I hear a Prince song.

When I was in Charlotte, North Carolina, my sister-in-law and two nephews went to a pool close to their house. I was sitting in the shallow end of the pool, and I heard "Raspberry Beret" playing on the loudspeaker.

Then, just recently, my parents and older brother went out to eat dinner at a restaurant outside. We were sitting there talking, and all of a sudden, the song "Diamonds and Pearls" came on.

I always have to smile when this happens, probably because Prince does not seem to get played on the local radio stations here very often.

I hear raspberry beret alot too....
